I’m Andrea Buchanan, founder of Heirloom Foto—an East Coast–based and destination wedding photographer specializing in refined, bespoke celebrations. My approach is intuitive, allowing couples to remain present while their story is preserved with depth and artistry.

Outside of weddings, my days are shaped by simple rituals- morning coffee, time in the gym, and sharing meals with my husband, our baby, and the people closest to me. I believe life is meant to be celebrated, and travel has become one of the ways I do just that, finding inspiration in new cultures, historic architecture, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments around the world. That perspective deeply influences how I photograph celebrations, wherever they take place.

With over a decade of experience and more than 300 weddings documented across the United States and abroad, I approach each celebration with calm intention, refined artistry, and deep respect for legacy, creating images meant to be felt, remembered, and passed down.
