I know, I know, I know. This session is past due, but trust me when I tell you that it’s a GOOD ONE. Let’s start off with a very funny story behind Stephanie + Ryan’s engagement session.

The plan was to meet in Alpharetta and road trip to North Georgia together. Fast forward through some amazing and hilarious conversations and we arrive to our destination only to find out that Ryan has left his pants at home with but a pair of sweats on him. No problem, we’ll postpone the shoot for 30 minutes and buy him some pants, we assure ourselves. NOPE. NOPE.

Finding pants quickly turned into an impossible feat. An hour passes and Stephanie and I start asking locals what stores would carry mens clothing. Hiawassee, GA. literally has but one store that carries mens clothing. The story goes on as we encounter yet another curve ball. Out of this entire store, they had but two pants that fit Ryan. TWO. So, he went with the baggy khaki pants. Even though It felt like nothing went our way, it was perspective and positivity that completely changed the outcome of our experience. We laughed, shrugged it off and made the most of it. Not to mention, Stephanie and Ryan absolutely killed it during their session!

In short, a road trip turned into a shopping adventure, which then turned one of my favorite engagement sessions. I seriously had such a blast with Stephanie + Ryan and cannot wait for their wedding this year!!

Union League Club of Chicago Wedding | Chris + Rebekah

It’s no surprise. I love Chicago and I love these two, who gave me the opportunity to photograph their most special and perfect day. And perfect it was indeed, from the weather to all of the details in between. Chris + Rebekah said their I-dos in the gorgeous Union League Club of Chicago. From there we walked around the city (one reason why I love city weddings so much- you can walk to most of your locations) snapped photos and ended the day with Chicago’s skyline. I said it before and I’ll say it again- Chris + Rebekah’s wedding day was perfect.
