Vintage Mansion Elopement | Kassie + Michael

Kassie and Michael knew they didn’t want the stress of planning a big wedding day. So, along with their family, friends and adorable pup, they drove all the way down from Michigan for their destination elopement at Victoria Belle Vintage Mansion. And what a beautiful wedding it was! The ceremony site was designed and decorated so beautifully, it looked like a styled shoot right out of a magazine (shout out to the team at Victoria Belle for always making dreams come true!!)

A few tips to all the brides and grooms planning their intimate wedding/ elopement:

  1. Have a weekday wedding like Kassie + Michael. Most venues offer package deals and discounts for weekday weddings!

  2. Reach out to venues you love! If you’re not crazy about saying your I-Dos in your parent’s backyard or at a national park, reach out to a venue you love. Most venues offer day-of coordinating, which takes even more stress off of planning for you.

  3. It’s YOUR wedding day, make it unique! I love that Kassie and Michael did their cake-cutting/ toast with their family and friends immediately after their ceremony. Even though they eloped, they still wanted to have some traditional elements woven into their wedding day.

Now, sit back and enjoy a glimpse into Kassie & Michael’s beautiful elopement!

Cuddly and Adventurous In-Home Session

Pillow fights, acro-yoga, trust falls, what didn’t take place during this in-home session? Bryan and Cheree were sooo much fun to have in front of my camera. I’m not sure who had more fun between the three of us. I laughed so hard there were moments I had to put my camera down just to compose myself. In other words, MORE IN-HOME SESSIONS PLEASE!!!
